Earlier this week, we got the chance to sit down and talk to Johan from 3sixteen.

We've always been cool with the boyz from 3sixteen, it's amazing to see their growth and maturity as a brand. Man, just to think a couple of years ago they were messing with just printed t-shirts... now they're full on custom cut'n'sew, everything from dress shirts, neckties, gym bags, shoes, and of course denim.

Over the years, 3Sixteen has worked closely with denim retailer Self Edge. Self Edge has 3 physical stores, San Francisco, New York, and now Los Angeles.

For those of you who are looking to buy some serious denim, make sure you check out their newest store on LA BREA. All customized everything:

Product Testing

For those that are familiar with Foreign Family, you know that we mainly deal with printed T-shirts, hoodies, and fitted caps. But every once in a while, we like to to test out some new product that revolves around our lifestyle. This time around, we've been testing out some of our new sleeves that support our arms while we ride.

We just got a small run of zines from our homegirl Esther Chang aka Elephant Tusk.

We've known Esther ever since high school, she's considered a brother within our circle of friends. After going to college in Berkeley, she moved out to NYC to attend NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. She graduated this year, and is now enjoying life in the concrete jungles of New York.

Stacking chips

On Saturday, we were invited to play in a small poker tournament by our good friends from Stack Clothing in downtown.

Their office inside KGB Gallery, is in the out skirts of Downtown LA, covered in some awesome graffiti. We might have to get down on that wall!

Meet Mitch, he's the one second from the right. He's always shown love to the FFamily. He's also one of the best poker players in LA, so if you see him in the casinos, make sure you keep your distance. haha we see you Mitch!

Here's Tiffany and Sherry. Tiffany was the event coordinator for the night, she was running around everywhere, making sure everyone was having a good time. Thank you for all the iced teas!!

The clouds were amongst us on the way back from Vegas.

Young Nate was once again caught slippin dozing off in the FFamily car... that's a no-no. =)

When we arrived back to our LA oFFice, a nice package was waiting for the FFamily from the Nike 6.0 office in Europe.

Size ten shoes for 44 finally! Thank you Ivan for getting the sizing right!

A nice tee came along the package as well for the SB series. That coi sleeve is not Nike... but it sure does look nice...

The Drive

Every year we attend the Magic show in Vegas, we only blog about the walk and people we meet. This year, we're enjoying our stay, sleeping in, and walking the show as Retailers for our oFFice store. Here's some pictures of the drive coming up to Vegas.

The drive to Vegas is always fun. The scenery is amazing, just look at that sky! True Blue.

One pit stop we make is the Alien Fresh Jerky store in Baker.

The food we miss most when we're out of Los Angeles, is Mexican food! Last night we went to Don Antonios to celebrate our buddy Richard's birthday party.

Some drinks with fire to start off the night.

Shrimp for appetizer. Grilled shrimp, boiled shrimp, lemon shrimp, sauteed shrimp... bubba gump styles.

Special spencer tacos. Grilled steak, avocado, and thick onion slices... delicious!

Aaaand some more drinks to end off the night.

Now time to go BMX to burn all the calories off.
